February Updates..

Hello!

So, I've ceased blogging as things have been hectic.

A brief summary: I got 7 interviews, but am only going to 6 (the other one never really got back to me about rescheduling) out of the 8 schools I applied.

First, I went to UCSF.... at the end of January. It went okay, I really liked two professors, and the other four were iffy... and today I got their rejection.... That's okay though, because I purposely scheduled it a week before Yale to get practice, and I REALLY want to go to the east coast.

So, I went to Yale two weeks ago... and that went sooo great... people were sooo nice, and the place was great... and the interviews were really smooth. And, I got in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yey!

Then I went to Cold Springs Harbor... which was really stressful.... and I got to meet James Watson (father/discoverer of DNA structure, along with Crick)... that was awesome...

And now, off to Minnesota, UNC and Duke... three in a row.

So, for now, Yale is my first choice.... but no decisions to be made until March...



In other news, I already bought the cloth/material for my wedding dress!!! Yes, I'm having it made! So, everything is slowly coming together.


The bad news, my wonderful fiance is sick. He got food poisoning, and isn't doing well :( I'm going to miss him soooooooooooo much.
